A tiny space in the Laval Metro exit has become a Sushi Shop where one can stop for a bite or order take-out for the family diner.

.

In the bedroom of the same coach house a brick wall and a gas fire place was created. The brick was aged to make the wall appear original.

.

At the beginning of the 20th century this was a coach house. Today it is a very warm modern house with only natural materials. The point of view of this kitchen has many hidden “kitchen elements” to extend the living room beautifully.

.

A long corridor can be the perfect place for Art!

.

This hallway, like many in condos,  was at first dark, heavy and carpeted. It became inviting once the doors where changed to allow the light of the bedrooms  to come through.  Also the hardwood floor makes it look clean and warm heightened by the impact of  the halogen lighting.

.

Everything is custom made: the fireplace mantle; the lighting; the stand for the sculpture.

.

Here we have what we call a « trompe l’œil ». The curtains on the wall are not really curtains but the cocooning effect of the bedroom is real.

.

A practical bathroom with lots of storage, but also inviting due to the contrast of the materials and a few interesting elements dressing up the room.

.

Another point of view of this spectacular entrance where the closet double doors are hidden and the hallway to the bedrooms  prolongs the effect.

.

This is the famous entrance featured in Urban Expressions magazine. A unique piece that is in fact a fresco, taking us to an imaginary place looking over part of downtown Montreal. The front door as well as the powder room door hide here.

.

Here we see how the kitchen is now part of the whole environment.

.

Originally the kitchen was small, dark with a claustrophobic feeling. The two openings, the breakfast/bar counter, the drawers  fridge/freezer have completely transformed the space.

.

Here, some of the interesting elements  are:  the ceiling that seems to be covered by metallic squares; the floor that presents a look of slate; and the granite back-splash matching the counter for a clean look.
